I am going to this place since they opened in London, I've always been very happy with the work they have been doing and was for me the best salon in London. But this time i am very disappointed, and will certainly not going back. The service became very poor and the staff became rude and not professional. I booked for file & polish hands and feet. Usually they used to take their time to provide a good service. I asked to do a french, the lady literally told me "no time no time" laughing, rushing me to choose the color... The only thing they want now is to be quick and do as many clients as they can in 1 day. The top coat on my feet is almost non-existent, literally mate... My nails do not even look good, and the quality is very poor, polish is super thick.
I’ve got quite mixed feelings about this salon. On one hand, the manicure and pedicure were fantastic - really amazing quality and my nails looked incredible as a result. On the other hand, the hair stylist was one of the worst ones I’ve had. I did balayage on my roots. After the lady did my hair one side of my head had patches of uneven dark hair which certainly not meant to be there! Also, overall ruined my hair - I’m not sure what products and how she used but my hair looks awful. It has never been that dry and brittle after I get my hair done. Funnily she recommended that I come for a hair treatment some time this week! Sure, after she’s ruined my hair now she wants to treat it…The styling of the hair in the end.. have no comments, looked awful 15 min after I left the salon. In conclusion: -highly recommend manicure and pedicure - recommend staying away from them doing anything with your hair
What a great experience. The staff are lovely and welcoming and Angelo was fantastic. He carefully evaluated my hair and listened to my concerns before talking me through his suggested solution. He improved the colour and condition of my hair and the cut and style is fab. Thanks so much!
Booked two pedicures, one for myself and one for my friend and we both turned up on the day, on time, only for me to given a pedicure but my friend to be left waiting for 25+ minutes and then told actually the pedicure couldn't be performed. There was no communication with me or my friend and the explanation that "the previous customer just took too long and wouldn't leave" just doesn't fly. If you know you have another customer booked, then you can't just have someone squatting on a chair for ages because they don't want to leave. It's a shame, in the past the service has been absolutely top notch, but I'm never coming back here again.
Absolutely disgusting feeling from the last visit to this salon. Guys, employees of Oblique, how can you allow your customers such rudeness? Who in their right mind would want to be treated the way you have been treated by the rude and lousy lady who stormed into the saloon and literally demanded all attention to her. She was verbally abusing you. I have just been finishing up with my appointment as this creature rushed in and started to order the staff to get over to her. I was immediately told that I had to change the seat and that the assistant will complete my drying-up. This is while I have paid for a service and wanted to have a good and enjoyable visit. It truly seems that the Saloon and all the staff are comfortable to be humiliated and treated the way this lady did. And more so at the expense of other customers. Ruined my day, you lost a customer and good luck to you continuing to grovel to rude customers of your saloon who seem to think they are somewhere in Moscow, not London, where all people are to be treated equally and with respect. Horrible
