We booked this restaurant as part of the theatre deal. This was a two course meal deal then theatre tickets. You could chose a starter, main or main and desert. There were some small tables near the front which were allocated for couples as part of this deal. We were given the Theatre/meal menu which differs from the main I guess. We were treated good and the restaurant was very busy as it was a friday evening. The restaurant was nicely decorated and pretty smart. The staff were friendly enough as quite rushed as busy. The drinks are not part of the deal so you pay separately for them at the end. Also a 12% discretion tip is added to the whole meal not just the drinks. The food was really nice, the fish is a really good option with the orange slice. Really nice and good flavour. Very happy with the experience here and if you come across this review as part of the theatre ticket deal I would recommend. It is about a 7 minute walk from Victoria Station which makes it easier if you are seeing Wicked at Victoria theatre.
This eating here is based on what we ordered so please keep that in mind. We saw portion sizes of large sizes all around us and we ordered toraleni and we got six small pieces each. Mind you, it was crab/lobster in there, so I can understand that. I'm just happy we got some bread before hand or I would have left still very hungry. Also there was a couple next to us who came and waited for 15 minutes just to be asked for drinks, so they just got up and left. We had decent service but I would maybe try the pizza if I came back.
Lovely restaurant with great service. Coffee was really nice and the atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely. Felt quite packed and not many places to place bags so having some space to place bags and coats could be lovely. The Pizza was lovely and was made very quick as well. Would love to see some lunch menus as well. Overall lovely experience!
Decent place with good options right next to coach station. Convenience wise it's a 5/5. I never understand the culture of automatically including service fee with the bill without consent. I see why restaurants do this cause people find it uncomfortable to have it removed but this is just not right and hence knocked one star off the rating.
