A little treasure among all the new buildings. The atmosphere at the entrance and the bar reminded me of the "Peaky Blinders" set. Very good food, tap beers and ales, and even non-alcoholic Gin and Tonic.
My parents and I enjoyed The Albert as our first meal in London. It was a beautiful sunlit and stylish pub. Very popular as there were reservations on almost every table. The fish and chips were absolutely delicious and we really enjoyed the British steak and ale pie. The sausage alone was different than what we’re used to but when you do a sausage, gravy and mash combo it was scrumptious! We were famished and it hit every spot for us!
This was our first pub stop in London while here for work. It was a fun spot for sure with what looked to be a nice mix of younger locals as well as tourists. They had a nice selection beers on tap with friendly bar tenders. The food was good as well and a very large portion. The place was packed which is always a good sign.
It’s a cozy local pub with lots of history in it (there’s a sign outside of the building about it). Very friendly stuff & delicious food & beer that were served in no time.
Th Albert was our quintessential pub stop on our trip to London. The pub was super cool, it definitely scratched the itch and didn’t disappoint. The drinks were good, the food was good, the staff were friendly, the ambiance was on point. I ordered the fish and chip (it was mediocre, but serviceable) and we also ordered the halloumi and chips (this was shockingly delicious). Definitely worth the stop if you’re looking for a pub to visit in London!
