We had two rooms which cost he same money. The ground floor room was a decent size and quite modern, not the cleanest but ok for the price, however the second room we were given was half the size, very dated to be polite and absolutely filthy. How they thought they could charge the same for the two rooms is mind boggling. Staff were unwelcoming and when we come to leave didn't even ask if we had a nice stay or a good night's rest, quite simply any kind of customer service was non existent. Breakfast was not available either. I would not even consider staying here again despite its decent location. My advice is find somewhere else to stay and avoid this dismal so called hotel.

One of the reasons I considered to book this hotel for me and my family was the reviews. Londres is expensive and this was the "best" option" available for less than 550 EUR for 3 nights. However, it is really amazing how things can change from photos to real life: - Rooms are smaller than they look, they are not clean, stinky. Hair everywhere, dirty floor. Do not expect something else, but a place to sleep - Bathroom extremely small (as the rooms). Weird and noisy water heating system. They are not ventilated. - Furniture from last century. Everything creak, tables, beds, doors, floor. I had a bad experience with a night table, it has 8 nails exposed. Dangerous. - Be aware before you book in this hotel. We had the last room. Around 4 or 5 floors. The higher the floor, the narrower the stairs, very steep and in some cases dangerous. - No breakfast included, although it was mentioned when booking. - Towels are not changed daily. Room cleaning is not done daily. - The personal is friendly, I would say (at least) - Location is good, 6 minutes walking from Paddington Station.

Dirty and old hotel, noisy apartments, very small rooms, a bad bed. Not a pleasant stay. I cannot recommend to stay here at all. The bed linneds very dirty.

For what the price worth, I would say it's all worth it! I give a 4 out of 5 because there are few points that I want to share with those people who wants to visit or stay in this hotel in the future. Location wise? Is definitely the ideal and perfect place where you are not too far from the city center or the Tube/subway station either. You will find cheap restaurants and bars in the area as well. For the Room, I cannot add any negative, as we know, it's stated that the room style will Victorian (that's what UK known for) I'm not a fan though but the room is absolutely clean and towels, matress, other needed things are provided. One of the cons is of course the lack of the elevator, it's a pity for sure, we were located at the top and it was hard to climb upstairs with your luggage. We were lucky that we only have one luggage and I had my husband with me, if I was alone, I don't know how to do it. The service was fine, a gentleman who works alone but it's all good, we understand that under UK standard this price is definitely cheap already. If you are looking for an average hotel to stay, not so expensive, then this one would be your fit. Just make sure you are fit enough to climb up to 6th floor stairs :D

We booked a family room for two nights and it was a very pleasant stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly, room was clean and tidy. Ideal location on 5 minutes walk from Paddington station, just step out and all the facilities were there which was very convenient specially with kids.
