My husband and I stayed at The Queen's Gate Hotel this past August for 4 nights. We absolutely loved it and would definitely stay here again! It was charming with excellent service. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic! The location was lovely: beautiful, quiet Kensington, right by the park and only an 8 minute walk to the Gloucester Road tube station. Best of all, the price was modest. This hotel is the best bang for your buck in London!

Very well located hotel, and clean. Staff has been great both in the hotel such as reception and the reservation service. We have booked a non cancellable room for family which we had to cancel for covid-related reasons, the hotel has been very flexible and accommodated our request. We could rebook within a year for full value.

Lovely hotel. Stayed here twice now in their Executive rooms. We did originally book a standard room the 2nd time but the room has a bath which was really high and had a tiny space to get into it as part of it was hidden behind a wall so we paid extra to upgrade to Executive again. These are lovely spaceous rooms with big walk in showers! Well worth the money. Breakfast is a tasty self-service buffet with fresh squeeze orange juice, full English and continental. So close to the Royal Albert Hall! Definitely stay here is you are seeing something at the Albert Hall. Walking distance to Natural History and Science Museums and Hyde Park

Terrific service and clean room. Nice neighborhood - good pubs and some museums nearby, although a 20 minute tube needed for the bigger tourist attractions. I would definitely come back.

I am just confused how this place is advertised as a 4-star hotel. Set your expectations more to the 2-3 star "holiday inn express" category. The beds feel like army cots. Scuffed and peeling wallpaper everywhere. A few outlets don't work. TVs are dated. I made a very last minute booking so shame on me for procrastinating and rates went sky high everywhere. Still, at nearly $300 for a single night this was more than twice what the room is worth. If you get it for $120 a night go for it - otherwise there are far better options in London with some planning.
