Great school, lovely community and amazing teachers, my 4 years old son is so happy attending this school, he loves his teachers and friends, he has been learning how to read and write so quick. Thank you all teachers, staff and headteacher for the terrific job you all do. Although this school was rated as a "good school", to me this is an Outstanding school , no doubt.

I cannot rate this school highly enough. My son is very happy here and looks forward to going to school everyday! He's made amazing progress in such a short space of time, down to the lovely staff. Headteacher is very approachable and always available to chat through any concerns.

Riversdale is a thriving local primary school in Southfields. It is a two form entry community school, with 2 classes of up to 30 children in each year (age 4-11). The school prides itself in making the school an environment where children want to learn. It provides a curriculum which gives equal value to developing children's academic, social, physical and spiritual understanding. The teachers work hard to ensure that all children leave school with a sense of achievement and enjoyment. It is a very happy school with great teachers. Ofsted have praised the outstanding behaviour of the pupils and their willingness to learn. Children are well behaved and thrive. The teaching staff are extremely dedicated and there is a genuine focus on assessing each child as a individual to make sure they fulfil their whole potential. Pupil progress is excellent, it is the second highest in the borough and in the top one percentile nationally. There is a breakfast club in the school and after school club facilities provided by LetMePlay until 6pm. They also offer gymnastics, football and tennis after school, and organise regular school trips, theatre trips, cultural events. They also join in many competitions and have had recent success in football, water polo, basketball, netball and cricket, as has the school choir. Spanish is taught as part of the curriculum. Facilities include a swimming pool, assembly hall, PE hall, secret garden/outdoor classroom, biodome, astro turf pitch, new ICT suite, cooking room, donation library, dining hall, modern and spacious classrooms and a newly developed playground. The school also has an active and growing PTC.
